Apply for a project

  • Applications are only open to medical students (subject to change later on) interested in gaining experience in research. Please review the eligibility criteria for each project carefully, as some projects may require specific skills or experience.

    Application deadlines vary by project, so please refer to the deadline listed under each project description.

    You are welcome to apply for multiple projects. Please submit a separate application form for each project you wish to apply for.

    Deadlines are at 23:59pm regardless of the date.

    The Research Symposium brings together students and leading researchers to explore the latest advances shaping the future of medicine. It is also where students present their own research, exchange ideas with academics and peers, and celebrate their contributions to medical research.

How applications are reviewed

Applications are assessed through a structured review process designed to ensure fair and consistent shortlisting. The final selection of students is made by the relevant project supervisor.

Research Symposium — 29 May 2027

Students will have the opportunity to present the work they’ve completed through these research partnerships at our Research Symposium on 29 May 2027 at Bush House, Strand Campus. The symposium will be open to all students and project supervisors, including those whose projects are still ongoing. It will provide an opportunity to celebrate students’ work and thank our supervisors for generously volunteering their time and supporting the projects.
