CRIS was set up in 2008 to enable research using de-identified data from routine mental healthcare records. It has subsequently supported numerous projects and over 300 original research publications, having also been enhanced with a range of linkages to external databases, as well as natural language processing applications to derive information from source text. There are a lot of opportunities to develop or assist with ongoing projects.
